UNICEF we know, is working in over 190 countries and territories to protect the rights of every child by reaching to the most disadvantaged children and adolescents everywhere.
Several other child-focused organizations are as well on same page with UNICEF.

With the Unicef report of an anticipated huge shift in the world’s child population towards Africa – with its potential to undermine the eradication of poverty and the marginalisation of many children, it is important to note that without prioritising equitable investment in vulnerable African children of today, Africa risks experiencing an ever-widening disparity among children in the nearest future.

For the children of today and tomorrow to have the potentials to transform the continent, with lower dependency ratios, and an expanded healthy and educated labor force and consumer base for sustained economic and political growth, it is pertinent to further explore new ways towards securing investments in the vulnerable worlds children in Africa.

Considering the landscape of charity and Philanthropy in international development and humanitarian assistance, the ‘Wcia Charity Summit’- a program of the World’s Children in Africa project, which is a CSR initiative of Net-Afrique Multiservices limited, is meant to help mobilize investments in children, to help children survive, thrive and fulfill their potentials and become more able to contribute to Africa’s development and growth tomorrow.

In essence, the WCIA project and it’s Summit, is a response to the United Nations call for private sector participation towards the realization of the sustainable development goals initiative in Africa.
