Charitable organizations survive primarily on donations, while private philanthropy is now a growing source of funding for international projects. Donating to a cause is such a remarkable deed that can not and should not be taken for granted. A formidable network of donors coming together towards a cause can produce unimaginable current and energy required to make the necessary difference in the world we live in. If, in the words of Louisa May Alcott, “it takes two flints to make a fire”; it is, therefore, worthy to commend the network of donors around the world who have consistently displayed commitments to help change the negative prevalence in the world we live in.
